Residential Services:
It's
never too late to get organized in your personal life, and for that,
J2 provides a free initial consultation with you in your
home (Central Ohio area). This allows us an opportunity to learn
about your personal needs and provides you with a description of the
strategy we'll employ to develop better organizing systems for you and
your family. During this meeting we can also discuss a price estimate
for later work sessions, generally grouped in two- or three-hour
segments. There is no obligation to purchase any work sessions as a
result of participating in the initial consultation. Melanie Haack serves as our residential organizing consultant. She has been a professional organizer in the Columbus areas for five years, with a focus on creating a better way of life through organizing. She received her training in assessing homes and offices from Julie Morgenstern, author of the NY Times Bestseller, Organizing from the Inside Out. Teaching a variety of organizing methods based on each client’s own unique needs are central to Melanie’s style of professional organizing. She helps clients identify their most destructive habits—those that cause the greatest frustration and loss of time—and transform them into constructive patterns that make sense to them. Melanie served as the founding treasurer of the Ohio Chapter of the National Association of Professional Organizers and continued in that capacity from 2003-2007. She has a B.A. from the Ohio State University in Journalism-Public Relations and directed public relations for several years in Denver, Colorado, at an agency supporting developmentally disabled adults. She later received her Master’s of Divinity at the Lutheran School of Theology at Chicago. She served congregations in Northwest Ohio for 10 years in ways that included teaching, public speaking, counseling and the administration of staff and volunteers. |
